Local Coordinator Procedure
Our project is aimed primarily at orphanages, kindergartens and schools in any country.
We are looking for parents to „adopt” children for a period of at least one year. The parents will donate 100 lei per month (equivalent to 20 euros / dollars) amount that will be used by the project managers first for the payment of the school fee, for food, clothes, supplies.
What will the NGO do?
1. Keep in touch with the local project manager;
2. Look for parents to support the children for at least one year;
3. Send money to the project manager (monthly or at a mutually agreed frequency);
4. Provide a monthly report to parents.
What will the local manager do?
1. Create a team to support him in this activity;
2. Make a list of the children who will enter the project in a Word document. Each child will have a serial number that will remain the same until the end of the project (example: 17. John Smith) and also will have a brief description for parent: the date of birth, school grade, familial situation, spoken language, religion, hobbies. Priority is given to orphaned children under the age of 12, but children who are extremely poor or have severely ill parents may also be admitted;
3. Create a folder with pictures (min. 500px) of the children. The pictures will bear the child’s number and name (as in point 2);
